Artist's Statement
I’m an Australian Artist based in Brisbane, with an interest in bold designs with even bolder messages, along with Surreal and Allegorical imagery. My work has changed quite a bit over the years as i’ve experimented with various mediums and subjects, but I always came back to what was comfortable - black and white, and mostly Pencil.
In the last few months however, i’ve discovered Oil Painting, and it’s (for lack of a better term) taken hold of me. My first ever Oil Painting was the Tiger; a style that was born in my previous Lion Drawing, and i’m currently creating 8 pieces in this series for my first exhibition.
